CHAPEL RECAP: SEPTEMBER 10, 2021

On September 10th 2022, eight couples finally said “I do!” at The Symes.

With the rising costs of weddings and more couples turning to turn-key planning solutions, The Pop-Up Chapel Co. offers a one-stop wedding package that includes everything you need for your big day like the venue, decor, officiant, photography, music and more. This sustainable, affordable and inclusive planning option is a shared weddings concept where we marry 10 couples in one day, every hour on the hour. We work with best-in-class local vendors to collaborate on a completely unique chapel event that, each time, supports a local charity and gives our fave local vendors the opportunity to use their wedding industry talent to create change at a local level.

The inspiration for this Chapel was an intergalactic love story, with mirror foils transforming the art-deco ceremony space into a futuristic loft. Soft lilac roses, burgundy anthuriums, and fluffy pampas grass put together by May Flowers lined the aisle as Next Level Entertainment serenaded the guests.

Our signature “CHAPEL” sign from Wild and Free Marquee welcomed the couples and their guests into their cocktail hour. Choices of wines from Serenity Wines, beer from Steam Whistle Brewery, Social Lite Vodka Soda, Viveau, or Gruvi kept everyone sipping. Everyone was stunned by the cakes from Olivia Yang Cake Studio, which came in delicious flavours like salted caramel and chocolate chai.

A total of $2400 was raised for Black Women in Motion, a Toronto-based, survivor-led, grassroots organization that empowers and supports the advancement of Black Women, Girls,  Nonbinary and Gender-non-conforming survivors of gender-based violence.

Our newly added 2022 dates in Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver are now OPEN for booking!

Book your spot at an upcoming Chapel now!
