Pop-Up Chapel 2026: Unique, All Inclusive Micro Weddings Across Canada

Want a fun, simple way to tie the knot in 2026, without the stress, pressure, or price tag of a traditional wedding?

The Pop-Up Chapel is coming to iconic locations across Canada in 2026 with our original approach to getting married. Choose your setting, book your spot, and show up ready, with your marriage license in hand. We take care of the rest.

Alicia Thurston, CEO and Creative Director of The Pop-Up Chapel Co., is designing a new series of intentional, design forward experiences for the 2026 season:

“Each Pop-Up Chapel is designed with its own distinct vibe, from the colour palette to the details that bring each space to life.

This year, we are exploring romantic maximalism through draped textures and tonal palettes, alongside bold urban settings layered in greenery, and light, airy lakeview scenes that feel effortless and timeless.”

In Alicia’s hands, each space tells a story. Vintage finds, layered drapery, thoughtful lighting, and original artwork come together to create something that feels immersive, unexpected, and visually striking.

“Couples want the magic and meaning of a wedding without the overwhelm.

We are seeing a shift toward more intentional experiences, starting with the guest list. It becomes less about numbers and more about who actually matters to your story, your past, your present, and your future.”

Each Pop-Up Chapel brings together a curated group of local vendors including officiants, photographers, florists, musicians, and food and drink partners, while also giving back. A portion of every booking supports local organizations such as the Martha Coffee Junior Development Fund at the Argonaut Rowing Club, the Canadian Film Centre, Evergreen Children’s Garden, Ocean Wise, and the Moose Hide Campaign.
