Not Your Average Internship!

The Pop-Up Chapel team is excited to announce that we’re on the hunt for one incredible intern for the 2023 wedding season! Do you like to craft, paint, build and design? Are you ready to immerse yourself in the world of weddings and gain practical experience? Do you want to be a part of team that knows how to have fun?! Then this might be your sign to intern with us!

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing for upcoming Chapels

  • Hands on crafting

  • Assisting with design fabrication

  • Attend Chapels and gain hands on experience (including set up and tear down)

  • Assisting with social media creation and planning

Here’s what we’re looking for in an intern:

  • Proactive

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Passion for weddings, creativity, and a keen eye for aesthetics

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

  • Prior experience in event planning or customer service (an asset)

  • Familiar with all social media platforms

  • Eager to learn and ready to have fun

  • Currently pursuing a degree in event management or related fields (or recently graduated) (an asset)

  • Access to a car and drivers license (an asset)

Commitment:

Start - July 1, 2023

End - October 31, 2023

In Toronto office - minimum 1 day a week and on site for Chapel days
