EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT POP-UP CHAPEL OTTAWA
Ottawa is our Nation’s Capital and has a stunning mix of history, nature, and innovation. Did you know Ottawa was the first ever city The Pop-Up Chapel Co. expanded into? We held our first Chapel in this beautiful city in November of 2020 and simply put, it was AMAZING! (Check it out here) We can not wait to get back there in 2021 with two more Chapels!

Last November we held our first ever Ottawa Chapel at Umbrella Bar and we got such great feedback from couples and their guests that we are going back again this November! The space is absolutely perfect for the Chapel with plenty of room to feel airy and bright but not so large as to lose it’s sense of intimacy. It is also drenched in beautiful natural light for photos. We are so excited to be heading back there for round two and cannot wait to transform the space with a completely new design! Speaking of design we are happy to announce we are now working with the talented Meaghan of Ruby and Parcel as our Ottawa Brand Ambassador! She is a multi-passionate creator who we have looked up to for years and are thrilled to have join our team.
Let’s rewind a little and talk about our first Chapel in Ottawa for 2021 that will be held at the Cumberland Belle in August! Cumberland Belle is so unique as a former church (built in 1867!) that was totally transformed in 2019 to a gorgeous event space. With historical touches throughout, like the original stained glass windows and cathedral ceilings, it is such a dreamy place to say “I do”. We also love the lush outdoor space absolutely perfect for taking post wedding pics surrounded by greenery! We are seriously itching to get in there and add our signature style to the space!
Since many of our couples travel to get to the Chapel, one of the most frequent questions we get from couples is “Where should we go for lunch/dinner/drinks after the Chapel?”. We asked Meaghan for some recommendations of local spots couples and their guests can take the party post-Chapel and she didn’t disappoint!
