OUR 2022 CHARITABLE PARTNERS

We have had an incredible 2022 year, and are proud of how much we have grown! When we take a look back at how we started, as an idea (from our founder Lynzie Kent), it's hard to believe we have launched our concept in 4 Canadian Cities and married over 500 wonderfully unique couples. We began our journey in the elopement industry because we noticed many couples did not feel they were represented by the current wedding market. The realities of modern weddings often force couples to have a large banquet hall wedding (that can usually cost as much as a down payment on a house), get eloped at city hall, or be forced to plan their own (stressful) DIY wedding.

We knew we could provide Canadian couples a better option while also focusing on our core values, Sustainability, Inclusivity, Simplicity, Evolution and Social Consciousness. So in 2017, we asked ourselves a question…What if we could create an experience that allows vendors to collaborate on something that would make a difference in the local community, give couples a shared experience that reduced wedding day waste and was inclusive to EVERYONE regardless of their gender, sexuality or religion?

Before we knew it, The Pop-Up Chapel Co. was created, and we had sold out our very first Chapel at The Drake Hotel! We knew we were onto something, and we found a perfect way to help couples while also helping our community! For every Couple we host at the Chapel, a minimum of $300 is donated to a local Charity!!

Although we have been hosting our Pop-Up Chapels for over 5 years now (with over 500 happy couples under our wing), we still feel like we're just getting started on our philanthropic journey! Earlier this year, we hit an incredible milestone of $100,000 donated to our community through local and international Charities!! We feel so proud to continue outreaching out to our community and leaving a legacy of love on behalf of every Chapel Couple we meet. This year alone, we have donated to 16 different Charities through our Pop-Up Chapels. We love supporting a variety of initiatives and worthy causes with each Chapel, such as One Tree Planted and The Awesome Music Project.

We wanted to highlight all the fantastic charities we have supported this 2022 wedding season. We've shared some adorable sneak peeks from each Chapel and outlined each charitable partner's missions and core values! Please take a moment to connect with their stories and make a donation to one that speaks to you
