CHAPEL RECAP: SEPTEMBER 24, 2021

On September 24th, The Loft on King was transformed into a stunning garden party where eleven couples got married.

With the rising costs of weddings and more couples turning to turn-key planning solutions, The Pop-Up Chapel Co. offers a one-stop wedding package that includes everything you need for your big day like the venue, decor, officiant, photography, music and more. This sustainable, affordable and inclusive planning option is a shared weddings concept where we marry 10 couples in one day, every hour on the hour. We work with best-in-class local vendors to collaborate on a completely unique chapel event that, each time, supports a local charity and gives our fave local vendors the opportunity to use their wedding industry talent to create change at a local level.

With its charming red bricks and exposed wooden beams, The Loft on King is a rustic dream amongst the hustle and bustle of downtown Toronto. The Wild Pansy transformed the picturesque ceremony space into a sumptuously overgrown garden, with crawling green vines, blooming blush roses, and dangling burgundy buds entwining the wrought iron decals. Couples walked down the velvet-lined aisle, meeting under the wrought iron chandelier to exchange their vows and rings.

Post-ceremony, the couples and their guests clinked their glasses, whether they were drinking wines from Serenity Wines, beer from Steam Whistle Brewery, Social Lites, Viveau, or Gruvi. Eatable kept guests munching with their gourmet champagne-infused popcorn and cakes from Olivia Yang Cake Studio provided both a stunning and delicious dessert moment.

This Chapel raised $3000 in support of Alzheimer Society of Canada. The nationwide charity offers advocacy and support for people living with all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease. By providing resources not only to those with dementia but also to their loved ones and their caretakers, the Alzheimer Society of Canada works continuously to ensure that the best care can be given to those in need.

Our newly added 2022 dates in Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver are now OPEN for booking!
