CHAPEL RECAP: OCTOBER 1, 2021

On October 1st, we hosted our first ever Chapel in beautiful British Columbia at the iconic Hycroft Manor in Vancouver!

With the rising costs of weddings and more couples turning to turn-key planning solutions, The Pop-Up Chapel Co. offers a one-stop wedding package that includes everything you need for your big day like the venue, decor, officiant, photography, music and more. This sustainable, affordable and inclusive planning option is a shared weddings concept where we marry up to 10 couples in one day, every hour on the hour. We work with best-in-class local vendors to collaborate on a completely unique chapel event that, each time, supports a local charity and gives our fave local vendors the opportunity to use their wedding industry talent to create change at a local level.

Five couples were married in the drawing room, where intricately carved ornate moulding and lofty French doors had guests dropping their jaws as they entered the room. Pops of peach, pink, and coral flowers by Ecorce Florals danced off the reflections of the crystal chandeliers. Standing in front of the carved marble fireplace, couples exchanged their tearful vows and excited “I do”s for all of their friends and family to witness. After sealing the marriage with a kiss, the couples and their guests were whisked into the terrace and solarium, where locally produced wines from Backyard Vineyards were enjoyed.

Every couple helped us in raising a total of $1500 for The Covenant House Vancouver, who support people aged 16 to 24 who were victims of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. By providing shelter, addiction support, and life skill training, the Covenant House hopes to provide unconditional love and exemplary relationships for youth experiencing homelessness.

Our newly added 2022 dates in Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver are now OPEN for booking!
