EPiQVision is a Toronto-based audio visual event service provider who has worked with the Chapel over the past year to deliver A/V solutions and live streaming to support and meet the needs of our event day production, quickly and efficiently!

Tell us a little about your business and how long you have been in the industry?

EPiQVision is a Toronto-based audio visual event services provider with over a decade of experience. We offer special event and equipment rental services that seamlessly bring your vision to life quickly and efficiently. For many years, EPiQVision has specialized in servicing our distinguished clients with an unmatched level of sophistication. The cornerstone of our five-star service is professionalism. Brittany Loomis is our resident Wedding Specialist. With a background in selling, planning and coordinating events across the Greater Toronto Area and Mexico; and a Wedding Planner Institute of Canada (WPIC) certification under her belt, her keen eye for detail and ambition has led her to pursue audiovisual sales and event design at EPiQVision. She thrives on making her clients special events unique, and helping their event design concepts come to life.

Which chapel has been your favourite?

Our favourite chapel took place this past August at the Globe and Mail Centre, it was a bright spark of joy in the middle of the pandemic! This Pop Up Chapel showcased our new live streaming services through our EPiQLive Platform and brought together every friend and member of the family from around the world that couldn’t be there that day. Making this chapel a little bit extra special!

What do you love about working in the wedding industry?

Working in the wedding industry caters to my passion for weddings and working in a creative space. There is no other industry that allows us to create experiences that leave a long lasting impression on our clients. I love being a part of something so big while witnessing the fusion of cultures, and bringing people together, all while witnessing the first hand joy from our couples and their families.

How is the chapel unique to your typical work/weddings? What do you love about it?

The chapel’s uniqueness is unlike any other typical work/wedding as it fills the gap between a traditional white wedding and city hall elopement. With a dedicated theme and socially conscious planning, the chapel provides a new way for couples to get married all while raising money for local charities.

If you could design a chapel what theme would you pick?!

I would love to be a part of a destination-themed/vintage wedding popup chapel. Think travel-inspired touches, retro suitcases filled with cascading greenery, soft florals, vintage photo frames with suspended candle globes.

What are some of the interesting instruments/equipment you use to deliver a great experience on event day? Anything unique people may not know about A/V?

Working in the wedding industry allows me to play a significant part in each of our clients’ days even though a/v may not be in the forefront of your mind. We get to work with the clients (and planners, too!) to make sure every part of your dream wedding flows seamlessly and we make sure that every little detail is seen and heard. Sometimes the simplicity of adding an extra microphone or lighting goes a long way in completing your vision.

During the months of quarantine, have you found a new hobby or project you've grown to like?

Life has certainly become more routine and less social since starting to work from home but I am a firm believer in always learning and moving forward! In my spare time, I have taken a few extra online classes in event design and a/v technology to help stay on top of trends and to provide better recommendations on equipment to my clients. I have used my extra time to be more efficient, to lean in and be more receptive to what clients are looking for and have focused on providing a stellar experience whether it is your first time booking your venue or postponing to next year.
