Our team is here to show you why we are the true original Pop-Up Chapel!

After working years in the wedding industry, The Pop-Up Chapel creator, Lynzie Kent, noticed a gap in the wedding industry between couples who wanted a big traditional wedding and couples having a simple city hall wedding. There was no in between, which meant that couples weren’t getting their dream wedding due to a lack of options for couples who didn’t want something big, but also wanted something more beautiful than the city hall. Welcome The Pop-Up Chapel Co.!

The Very First of Its Kind!

Why choose the copy if you can have the original one!? The Pop-Up Chapel Co. held the very first Chapel at The Drake Hotel in Toronto all the way back in 2017! Since then, we have hosted 69 Chapels, married more than 450+ couples across 4 cities in Canada, including Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, and Vancouver. For every couple we marry, we also do a $300 donation to a local charity on their behalf. Since our very first Chapel, we have donated $150,000 to the growth of local communities. The Pop-Up Chapel Co. created sustainable, budget friendly, stress free, social conscious, and not to mention beautiful weddings and we can’t wait to get you hitched!

Talking about sustainability, our Chapels are currently incredibly sustainable having 10 couples share and create less waste than is traditionally made from one couple’s wedding. We partner with local wedding planners, rental companies and retail stores to use, upcycle and recycle previous wedding decor and window displays. It’s not unusual for our backdrops to be made of repurposed material and we work closely with our florist to create beautiful florals installs that last all day shared across up to 10 couples. Cooler Than City Hall!

This is our motto! Our goal is to give you an elevated wedding experience in the most desirable venues in the city, with stunning one of a kind designs. We have created the combination that includes the simplicity of a city hall wedding, with the elements of a traditional wedding, including photography, professional officiant, light bites and a toast, live music, venue, decor and more. Why not go with a curated design in a perfect venue, instead of the gray walls of the city hall?

The Pop-Up Chapel Co. hosts micro elopements across 4 cities in Canada, making sure we select the most desirable, aesthetic, accessible and fun venues available. Our team takes care of the venue booking and dates selection for you, so all you have to do is go on our website, pick a date, and show up to your wedding!

We only work with the pros of the wedding industry! Our team hand picks the vendors and venues for your Chapel experience. We ensure professionalism, experience, and ensure their values align with our values. Booking all necessary vendors is just one more way we make sure your wedding day is as stress free as possible!

Make It Yours!

At the Pop-Up Chapel Co. we want to make sure your wedding is intimately yours! Your basic package includes everything you need to have a perfect wedding, but you can also purchase add-ons that you consider must haves for your Chapel. A few of the add-ons we offer include Cutting Cake, Open Bar, Videography, Cupcakes, Additional Florals, and Live Cocktail Music. The add-ons are designed for you to personalize your Chapel with what you need for the perfect wedding. You can learn more on How To Customize Your Chapel Experience!

The more the merrier! The basic Chapel package includes 20 guests for you to bring, with the option to add up to 30 guests with our Additional Guests Add-On. For our party people, we have created the Late Night Party Spot, where you can add up to 50 guests! Learn more about the different packages we offer HERE!
